Our services
One-on-one sessions
Each one-on-one session will look different depending on your goals and priorities for services. A session may involve intervention with your child while providing you with education and strategies, or it could be entirely parent coaching where we break down a concern for your child, and problem solve and build your capacity to manage in the future. Whether it be the occupational therapist and parent observing your child playing or completing a task, completing assessments, or developing or providing strategies and education, your input and expertise on your child will play a significant role. These sessions will take place in the environments that matter to you, from your home, to the park or shopping centre, or school and kindy.

Sense Team Sports - Rugby (Toowoomba)
BBT is the contracted provider of Sense Team Sports services in Toowoomba. Sense Rugby is a group-based occupational therapy program designed to provide children with delay or disability with opportunities to engage in a team-sports environment. These groups are implemented in a program-style, occurring weekly over a designated period of time with the same ‘teammates’ each session. Each session will incorporate a variety of activities that promote opportunities for development of various skills including gross motor, social, emotion regulation and executive functioning skills. The aim of the program is to create positive experiences for child in physical activity assist children in working towards managing a mainstream sporting environment in the future if they would like.
Reports
Reports will be prepared and provided upon your request to the meet the needs of your child. Functional assessment reports outlining how a child manages their day, an NDIS review report that demonstrates your child’s progress and areas for ongoing development, and letters of support to other key stakeholders, are all available through liaison with your occupational therapist.

Our rates
Hourly rate is set as per NDIS pricing arrangements - $193.99 per hour. NDIS plan-managed and self-managed plans are able to be used for BBT services.
One-on-one sessions
In-person or telehealth, involving assessment and review, parent coaching or intervention. Session frequency is determined by the child’s needs.
Charged per hourly rate.
Other non-direct supports
Service such as phone-consultations, detailed clinical emails, attending meetings requested by parents/funding partner and development of requested personalised resources.
Charged in 15 minute increments.
Travel
Travel to appointments, based on time. Please discuss with the team if you have queries regarding travel costs. JMOT will aim to implement ways of minimising this cost as much as possible.
Charged per hourly rate (maximum of 30 minutes one way).
Sense Team Sports - Rugby (Toowoomba)
Group-based programs carried out over a specified period of time, as per availability. 60 minute sessions.
Charged under ‘Program of Supports’ at commencement of program rather than individual sessions, similar to that of a sports season.
Reports
Functional assessment, NDIS review and letters of support.
Charged as per hourly rate (or part thereof).
